Du entwickelst komplexe Backends, arbeitest an robusten Microservices und bringst dich aktiv in plattformübergreifende Themen ein – gemeinsam mit unseren Software-Architekt:innen und App-Teams. Dabei trägst du Verantwortung für die technische Qualität deiner Services und prägst die Weiterentwicklung der Plattform auf fachlicher wie technologischer Ebene.
Was erwartet dich?
- Du gestaltest in Rücksprache mit Software-Architekt:innen die Ausprägung einzelner Services
- Du unterstützt uns bei der Beantwortung von Sizing-Fragen durch Schätzungen für Deine Services
- Du entwickelst eigenständig einzelne Microservices anhand der daraus resultierenden Spezifikation und stellst sicher, dass diese sauber im Backend laufen und deployst sie selbst
- Du arbeitest im engen Austausch mit unseren App-Entwickler:innen an der Integration der jeweiligen Komponenten
- Du hilfst uns beim Einhalten der mit unseren Kund:innen vereinbarten SLAs

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast mehrere Backends für den Produktiveinsatz geschrieben und kennst Dich mit Microservices aus
- Du kennst Dependency-Injection und Separation of Concerns und legst in Deinem Programmierstil Wert auf Immutability und die Reduktion von Prädikaten
- Du bist mit den OWASP common Vulnerabilities vertraut und kennst mögliche Mitigationsmaßnahmen
- Du hast keine Probleme unsere Services werden als Docker-Container deployed, daher solltest Du fit in k8s oder einer vergleichbaren Technologie sein
- Du bist mit Linux-Servern vertraut und die Shell sollte Dich nicht ins Schwitzen bringen
- Du weißt, was zu einem JVM Build-System dazugehört: M2-Repositories, CI, Maven oder Gradle, Container-Registries und liest viel über Software-Technologien und probierst es auch aus – auch abseits des Arbeitsplatzes

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
