• Planung der aktiven als auch passiven Netzwerkstrukturen
• Administration und Überwachung der zentralen Firewall-Systeme
• Konzeptionelle Weiterentwicklung und Ausbau von IT‑Sicherheitslösungen und des Monitoring

Was solltest du mitbringen?
• Vertiefte Kenntnisse in der Planung und Umsetzung von Layer-2/3‑Netzwerkarchitekturen
• sehr gute Kenntnisse der Netzwerktopologien, Netzwerkprotokolle sowie der Verwaltung von Switches, Routern und Firewalls
• gute Kenntnisse in der Systemadministration von Windows- und Linux-basierten Systemen
• gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Monitoring (idealerweise Icinga)
• Erfahrung mit Virtualisierungstechnologien und Containerumgebungen
• Erfahrung im Bereich Automatisierung (Ansible, SALT) und Scripting (bash, Python)
• Verständnis und Bereitschaft zur Implementierung von Netzwerktechnologien, die speziell für wissenschaftliches maschinelles Lernen entwickelt wurden und über die grundlegende Konnektivität hinausgehen, insbesondere Edge-to-Core-to-Cloud-Workflows über heterogene Systeme und Umgebungen hinweg
• ein hohes Maß an Service- und Teamorientierung
• lösungsorientierte und eigenverantwortliche sowie analytische Arbeitsweise

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least.
