Was erwartet dich?
- Du verantwortest die Planung, Konfiguration und den stabilen Betrieb unserer Netzwerkinfrastruktur (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN) und überwachst die Systeme, um eine hohe Verfügbarkeit für unsere Forschung zu gewährleisten.
- Du administrierst unsere zentralen Firewall-Systeme und entwickelst unsere IT-Sicherheitslösungen sowie das Monitoring, idealerweise mit Icinga, konzeptionell weiter.
- Du treibst die Automatisierung unserer Systemlandschaft voran, indem du wiederkehrende Aufgaben mit Tools wie Ansible, Salt sowie Skripten in Python und Bash optimierst.
- In enger Abstimmung mit den wissenschaftlichen Abteilungen unterstützt du aktiv bei Projekten im Forschungsdatenmanagement und implementierst spezielle Netzwerklösungen für Machine-Learning-Workflows.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast ein Studium der Informatik abgeschlossen oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation und bringst bereits Berufserfahrung in der Netzwerkadministration mit.
- Du bist Profi in der Planung und Verwaltung von Layer-2/3-Netzwerkarchitekturen und kennst dich bestens mit Switches, Routern und Firewalls aus.
- Du bewegst dich sicher in Windows- und Linux-Umgebungen und hast Erfahrung in der Automatisierung mit Tools wie Ansible, Salt oder Skripten (z. B. Python, Bash).
- Idealerweise hast du bereits mit Virtualisierung, Containern und Monitoring-Tools wie Icinga gearbeitet.
- Du arbeitest eigenverantwortlich, lösungsorientiert und bringst ein starkes Bewusstsein für IT-Sicherheit und Serviceorientierung mit.
- Für den Austausch im Team sprichst du fließend Deutsch (C1) und gutes Englisch.
