Wir sind ein kleiner IT-Dienstleister und betreuen unsere Kunden in den Bereichen VMware, Veeam und Storage sowie in weiteren Infrastrukturthemen. Als IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) planst und betreust du vor allem ihre virtualisierten Umgebungen, Backups und Storage-Lösungen, übernimmst aber je nach Kunde auch allgemeine Aufgaben in der System- und Netzwerkadministration. Dich erwarten abwechslungsreiche Kundenprojekte, viel Praxisnähe und Einblicke in unterschiedliche IT-Landschaften.
Was erwartet dich?
- Administration und Weiterentwicklung der virtualisierten Umgebungen unserer Kunden auf Basis von VMware
- Planung und Betrieb von Backup- und Recovery-Lösungen mit Veeam
- Betreuung moderner Storage-Infrastrukturen mit Schwerpunkt DataCore und Nutanix
- Mitarbeit an technisch anspruchsvollen Infrastrukturprojekten bei unterschiedlichen Kunden
- Ergänzend übernimmst du abwechslungsreiche 2nd-Level-Support-Aufgaben, unterstützt deine Kolleginnen und Kollegen bei komplexeren Fällen und bringst dein Know-how auch in angrenzende Bereiche wie Microsoft 365, Netzwerk und Client-Umgebungen ein.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du kommunizierst klar, arbeitest gerne im Team und hast eine ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung.
- Idealerweise hast du bereits bei einem IT-Dienstleister gearbeitet und kennst den Umgang mit unterschiedlichen Kundenumgebungen.
- Du sprichst sehr gut Deutsch (mindestens C1) und verfügst über gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2).
- Ein PKW-Führerschein ermöglicht dir flexible Einsätze bei Kunden vor Ort.
- Du hast fundierte Erfahrung in der Administration von VMware-Umgebungen.
- Du bringst Routine im Umgang mit Veeam-Backup-Lösungen mit.
- Windows-Clients im Rahmen des 2nd-Level-Supports sowie grundlegende Netzwerkkenntnisse (VLAN, VPN, Routing-Basics).
- Kenntnisse im Storage-Bereich, idealerweise mit HCI-Lösungen, runden dein Profil ab.

Yes, this is possible. In your application overview you can view your information and make changes. If you have already been invited to an interview, editing is no longer possible. However, you can still add general information and upload additional documents in your profile.

In your application overview you have an overview of the application progress at any time. Additionally, we send you emails about the most important status changes.

No, companies can only see the applications they have received.
Can I also contact the company's contact person directly?
Personal contact is possible via chat as soon as you have been invited for an interview. Before that, you will receive all important status changes by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact your personal Candidate Manager:in from Workwise.
I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
