Linux Administrator für Cloud-Umgebungen (m/w/d)
Was erwartet dich?
- Du bist für die Installation und Konfiguration von Linux-basierten Serverlandschaften unter CentOS, Rocky, Redhat und Debian Linux in den Private- und Public-Cloud-Umgebungen unseres Unternehmens und unserer Kund:innen zuständig. Du unterstützt bei der Planung und Durchführung erforderlicher Migrationen zwischen Systemen und kümmerst Dich um die Betreuung des kompletten Releasezyklus unserer Linux-Systeme, die überwiegend auf Redhat- und Rocky-Linux-Basis laufen
- Du bearbeitest Sicherheitsthemen, die Linux-basiert sind, analysierst Protokolle und behebst Fehler. Du definierst Deine systemkritischen Parameter und hilfst dem Monitoring-Team, diese zu überwachen
- Du automatisierst die IT-Landschaft mit Ansible und Terraform und hast eine Affinität für Scripting und Bash

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du verfügst über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine Ausbildung im Bereich Informatik
- Du bringst Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Netzwerke, Server, Datenbanken und Virtualisierung mit und kennst Dich mit Linux-Systemlandschaften aus
- Du begeisterst Dich für Bash und Scripting und arbeitest Dich gerne in Tools wie GitLab, Terraform und Ansible ein
- Du hast Kenntnisse mit den IaaS-Diensten in Azure, AWS und GCP, was wünschenswert ist
- Du beherrschst Deutsch (C1+) und Englisch (B2+) in Wort und Schrift

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
What do I have to consider if German is not my mother tongue?
Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
