Was erwartet dich?
- Du beschäftigst dich mit unseren Schützlingen, auch wenn diese einer besonderen Pflege bedürfen, weil sie z.B. chronisch krank sind, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Tierärzt:innen
- Du analysierst Verhaltensauffälligkeiten sowie Fehl- oder Problemverhalten
- Du arbeitest mit Tierpfleger:innen zusammen
- Du unterstützt uns mit Freude bei der Einweisung und Betreuung von ehrenamtlichen Helfer:innen und vor allem auch bei der Vermittlung unserer Fellnasen an Neubesitzer:innen
- Du übernimmst auch Schichtdienst sowie Wochenend- oder Feiertagsarbeit
- Wir bitten darum, von branchenfremden Bewerbungen abzusehen. Unsere Schützlinge sind nur mit Fachkenntnis zu handhaben.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du verfügst über eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Tierpfleger (m/w/d) mit Sachkundenachweis
- Du bringst Berufserfahrung im Tierheim Betrieb mit
- Du hast Erfahrung mit Verhaltensauffälligkeiten und kannst Fehl- oder Problemverhalten analysieren
- Du hast ein großes Herz für Tiere und steckst auch mal schlechte Tage weg und man schätzt deine Zuverlässigkeit und deine Flexibilität
- Du bist ein Organisationstalent und planst gerne Arbeitsabläufe in der Pflege
- Du besitzt einen Führerschein (mind. Pkw Klasse B)

About Tierschutzverein Speyer und Umgebung e.V.
Unser Tierschutzverein wurde 1956 gegründet und ist Mitglied im Dachverband Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. und dessen Landesverband in Rheinland-Pfalz. Wir leisten Aufklärungsarbeit zum Thema Tierschutz und betreiben unser Tierheim in Speyer. Das Tierheim wurde 1959 eröffnet und wird seither in Eigenverantwortung und enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Speyer betrieben. Hauptaufgabe im Tierheimbetrieb ist die Versorgung von herrenlosen Haustieren. Wir bieten unseren Schützlingen ein möglichst gutes Heim auf Zeit bis ein neues Zuhause mit artgerechter Haltung gefunden ist.

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
