Was erwartet dich?

Du führst eigenständige und strategische Medienarbeit für unser Unternehmen durch
Du platzierst proaktiv unsere Themen in Nachrichtenagenturen, Wirtschaftsmedien und Leitmedien
Du baust ein belastbares Netzwerk zu Journalist:innen, Redaktionen und Ressortleitungen auf und pflegst es
Du verfasst sicher Pressemitteilungen, Statements, Namensbeiträge und Interviewbriefings
Du arbeitest eng mit der Geschäftsführung bei der medialen Positionierung des Verbandes zusammen und berichtest an den Leiter External Affairs
Du begleitest Interviews, Hintergrundgespräche und Presseveranstaltungen und unterstützt bei der Mitgliederkommunikation im politischen Kontext

Was solltest du mitbringen?

Du hast mindestens fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung in der journalistischen Arbeit – z. B. in einer Redaktion, einer Pressestelle oder als Korrespondent:in
Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Journalismus, Kommunikation, Politik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
Du hast ein ausgewiesenes Verständnis für mediale Mechanismen und redaktionelle Arbeitsweisen
Du verfügst über exzellente schriftliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit und Freude am Formulieren pointierter Botschaften

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
