We're building the trust-origin infrastructure for hospitality. Not another hotel tool — the attribution and settlement layer this industry has never had.
Ecco is an early-stage infrastructure company based in Munich. Our system connects PMS, booking engines, and compliance into a single, event-validated data circuit. We're lean, deliberate, and building something structurally new.
We're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to own the core of that stack.
This is not a feature-factory role. You'll work directly with the founder, make architectural decisions that matter, and build systems that need to be right — not just fast.

What should you bring along?

Experience: You bring at least 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Tech Stack Proficiency: You have solid hands-on experience in:
TypeScript, React, Node.js/NestJS, MongoDB, AWS. Event-based validation logic. PMS & booking engine & Co integrations.
Analytical Mindset: You enjoy creative thinking and have the ability to deconstruct complex problems into efficient, scalable technical solutions.
Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a team environment and enjoy working closely with both internal teams and external IT experts/partners.
Communication Skills: You are able to present complex technical ideas clearly and effectively to different stakeholders.
Language: You are fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
