Was erwartet dich?
- Du übernimmst eigenverantwortlich die Betreuung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der IT-Infrastruktur an unserem Standort in Aachen. Dabei stellst du die Verfügbarkeit, Performance und Ausfallsicherheit unserer Systeme sicher
- Du planst, installierst und managst den Lifecycle von Server- und Netzwerkhardware. Darüber hinaus administrierst und optimierst du unsere Linux-basierten Systeme, insbesondere Debian und Proxmox, auf Infrastruktur-Ebene
- Du betreust und entwickelst unsere Storage-Landschaft weiter, unter anderem mit Technologien wie Ceph, ZFS, btrfs, ext4 und Samba. Zudem sorgst du für einen stabilen und sicheren Betrieb unserer Netzwerkomgebung im LAN- und WAN-Bereich
- Du analysierst und behebst Störungen in der IT-Infrastruktur, insbesondere in den Bereichen Netzwerk, Hardware und Basisdienste. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit dem IT-Fachbereich zusammen und stellst eine sorgfältige Dokumentation der Systeme und Prozesse sicher

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung, z. B. als Fachinformatiker:in, ein Studium im Bereich Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation – alternativ überzeugst du als Quereinsteiger:in mit relevanter praktischer Erfahrung
- Du bringst fundierte Erfahrung im Betrieb und in der Administration von Virtualisierungslösungen mit (idealerweise Proxmox), hast sehr gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Netzwerktechnik (Routing, Switching, VLANs, Firewalling und VPN) und konntest bereits praktische Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Routing-Protokollen, insbesondere OSPF, sammeln
- Du bist vertraut im Umgang mit Linux-Systemen (vorzugsweise Debian), Storage-Technologien sowie RAID-Konzepten. Darüber hinaus hast du bereits mit Server- und Netzwerkhardware sowie Rechenzentrumsinfrastruktur gearbeitet
- Du arbeitest selbstständig, strukturiert und verantwortungsbewusst und bist ein:e echte:r Teamplayer:in mit guter Kommunikationsfähigkeit
- Du fühlst dich in einem internationalen Umfeld wohl: Du verfügst sowohl über sehr gute Deutsch- als auch über gute Englischkenntnisse und scheust dich nicht, diese anzuwenden

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least.
