What can you expect?
- You develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications and microservices as part of our IGA platform
- You design and implement scalable, maintainable code following best practices, common design patterns, and modern architectural principles
- You build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems and enterprise platforms
- You work on data-intensive processing for large-scale identity and access data, focusing on performance and reliability
- You collaborate with international product owners, developers, and UX to understand requirements and deliver robust, secure solutions
- You work with cloud-native infrastructures and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, and contribute to our CI/CD pipelines
- You conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
- You stay updated on emerging technologies (including AI/ML) and evaluate how they can be leveraged in our products
- You mentor other developers and help foster a collaborative, open-minded, and learning-oriented team environment

What should you bring along?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- You have 5+ years of experience developing complex software projects (ideally in security, IAM/IGA, or enterprise products)
- You have strong experience in Java 17+ (ideally 21+) and Spring Boot, building backend services and microservices
- You have solid experience with PostgreSQL (or other SQL databases) and Hibernate/JPA for data modeling and access
- You have experience with database versioning tools (e.g. Liquibase) and a strong understanding of RESTful API design and general integration patterns
- You have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably Helm, working in cloud or cloud-like environments
- You have practical experience with CI/CD (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines or similar), Maven, and Git
- You have experience with data-intensive processing (handling and transforming large datasets efficiently) is a strong plus
- You have experience with or interest in TypeScript + React (with Redux) or similar frontend technology is an advantage
- You have knowledge of Azure and/or SAP and security / IAM / IGA domains is a plus
- You are familiar with AI / Machine Learning concepts and how they can be applied in software products is a plus
- You enjoy assisting other developers and fostering a collaborative, open-minded team environment
- You contribute to strategic and technical decision-making, are curious about new technologies, and continuously enhance your skills
- You have strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- You are comfortable working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- You have knowledge of common design patterns and cloud patterns is an advantage

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least.
