Was erwartet dich?
- Eigenverantwortliche Vorbereitung, Begleitung und Nachbereitung von Prüfverfahren des Medizinischen Dienstes (MD)
- Bewertung und Bearbeitung von Prüfaufträgen sowie Erstellung medizinischer Stellungnahmen in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachabteilungen
- Analyse von MD-Ergebnissen sowie Identifikation und Umsetzung von Optimierungspotenzialen zur nachhaltigen Erlössicherung
- Prüfung und Optimierung der medizinischen Dokumentation und Kodierqualität
- Beratung und Unterstützung der Ärztinnen und Ärzte sowie der Pflege bei abrechnungsrelevanten Fragestellungen
- Sicherstellung einer korrekten und vollständigen Kodierung nach ICD, OPS und den Deutschen Kodierrichtlinien
- Analyse medizinischer Leistungsdaten sowie Erstellung von Auswertungen und Kennzahlen für das interne Berichtswesen
- Mitwirkung bei der Weiterentwicklung von Dokumentations-, Kodier- und Abrechnungsprozessen
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den medizinischen Fachabteilungen, dem Patientenmanagement, dem Controlling und der Finanzbuchhaltung
- Durchführung interner Schulungen zu dokumentations- und abrechnungsrelevanten Themen

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Medizin, Gesundheitsökonomie oder Gesundheitsmanagement, eine Ausbildung in einem Gesundheitsberuf mit entsprechender Zusatzqualifikation oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Medizincontrolling eines Akutkrankenhauses
- Fundierte Erfahrung im Umgang mit Prüfverfahren des Medizinischen Dienstes sowie den gesetzlichen Grundlagen des Krankenhausabrechnungsrechts
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse des G-DRG-Systems, der Deutschen Kodierrichtlinien sowie der Klassifikationen ICD und OPS
- Sicherer Umgang mit Krankenhausinformationssystemen und den gängigen MS-Office-Anwendungen
- Analytisches Denkvermögen, wirtschaftliches Verständnis sowie eine strukturierte und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Verhandlungskompetenz sowie ein sicheres Auftreten
- Teamfähigkeit und Freude an der interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit
