Daten sind das Lebenselixier eines jeden Unternehmens, und das Datenwachstum und die Datenvielfalt sind schier unermesslich. Das Ziel ist klar: aus diesem Datenschatz soll wertvolles Geschäftswissen erschlossen werden. Kennzahlen messen die Performance des Unternehmens, einzelner Produkte oder Produktionsmittel, schaffen ein Abbild der Kunden und Geschäftspartner und versprechen über prädikative Analysen und AI/ML den erfolgsentscheidenden Blick in die Zukunft. In diesem Spannungsfeld bewegst du dich als Data Analytics Consultant. Ausgehend vom Wissensbedarf des Kunden entwirfst du passende analytische Datenmodelle, sorgst für die effiziente Datenspeicherung und stellst geeignete Abfrage- und Auswertungsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung.
Anspruchsvolle Aufgaben erwarten dich:
- Dein Fokus liegt auf den Wissensbedarfen des Kunden, die sich je nach Anwendung an seinen betriebswirtschaftlichen oder technisch/wissenschaftlichen Zielen ausrichten. Daneben verschaffst du dir im Datenprofiling Klarheit über das vorhandene Datenangebot.
- In konzeptuellen Datenmodellen sorgst du für die fachliche Strukturierung der Daten. Für die anschließende Realisierung mit Oracle Datenbanktechnologien greifst du auf relationale, multidimensionale, hybride und für Big Data auch NoSQL-Datenschemata zurück.
- Für die Datenhaltung nutzt du Oracle Datenbanken, Data Warehouses und Data Marts on premises und zunehmend autonomous in der Cloud. Performance Management-Applikationen werden auf Basis von Oracle Essbase realisiert. Bei Bedarf greifst du auch auf Open Source-Produkte zurück.
- Das Design der Reporting- und Analyseapplikationen und der Dashboards erfolgt in enger Abstimmung mit dem Kunden. Für die Realisierung kommt die ganze Palette der Oracle Analytics-Produkte, beim Kunden verfügbare Wettbewerber-Tools sowie Open Source-Produkte zum Einsatz.
- Bei der Datenmigration unterstützt du im Datenprofiling, in der Konzeption der Datenübernahme (ETL – Extraktion, Transformation, Laden) und in der Realisierung des ETL-Prozesses einschließlich der erforderlichen Automatisierung und der Bereitstellung geeigneter Prüfroutinen.

Du bringst mit:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informationswirtschaft oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit IT-Affinität

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. Use the application's questions to address your motivation and show the company why you are still a good fit for the job. If you don't meet many or all of the requirements, the application will not be successful.
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
