Senior Data Engineer für Data Lakehouse (m/w/d)
Was erwartet dich?
- Du bist die technische Ansprechperson für das Data Lakehouse und alle damit verbundenen Prozesse.
- Als Teil des Data Teams arbeitest du direkt mit den Data Scientists und BI Managern (m/w/d) zusammen. Zusätzlich stehst du eng im Austausch mit dem Head of Product.
- Du konzipierst und setzt unsere Data Lakehouse Umgebung um.
- Du setzt skalierbare Data Streaming Pipelines (z.b. via Apache Kafka) für den Datenaustausch um.
- Du automatisierst Datentransfer- und Transformationsprozesse (ELT, ETL).
- Du steuerst das Monitoring, die Fehleranalyse und optimierst bestehende Data & Analytics Anwendungen.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du verfügst über ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Mathematik oder Physik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung.
- Du hast bereits mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im professionellen Data Engineering Umfeld gesammelt.
- Du bist Expert:in in Programmiersprachen wie Python, Erfahrung von SCALA ist ebenfalls von Vorteil.
- Du kennst dich mit Big Data Technologien aus und kannst sie zielgerecht einsetzen.
- Du arbeitest gerne im Team und teilst dein Wissen.
- Du bist kommunikationsstark – vertrittst klar deinen Standpunkt und kannst deine Argumente auch fachfremden Abteilungen darlegen.
- Du hast eine hohe Lernbereitschaft und zeigst Eigeninitiative, denn Data Engineering ist ein sich ständig entwickelndes Feld.
- Du verfügst über fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
