Software Support Engineer - Kundenservice / Beratung / Linux / Windows (m/w/d)
Was erwartet dich?
- Du realisierst die Kundeninstallationen unserer Software, sowie deren Dokumentation
- Du kümmerst dich um die funktionale Eskalation an andere Supporteinheiten und unterstützt die Software-Entwicklung
- Du kümmerst dich um die Priorisierung, Klassifizierung und Dokumentation von Störungen im Ticketsystem
- Du verantwortest die technische Beratung zu unseren Software-Produkten bei Kundenanfragen
- Du kümmerst dich um die Fehleranalyse und führst Lösungen durch Remote-Support herbei
- Du unterstützt bei der Qualitätssicherung von aktuellen und neuen Softwareprodukten
- Du bearbeitest Service Requests im 1st- und 2nd- Level-Support

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im IT-Bereich oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Du verfügst über gute Kenntnisse im Bereich der Serveradministration mit Windows und Linux
- Du konntest bereits Erfahrung mit Server- und Storage-Hardware, sowie gängigen Virtualisierungslösungen
- Du hast idealerweise Kenntnisse in der Erstellung von Skripten (z.B. Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Du bringst Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Ticket- und Remotetools, sowie Freude an Dokumentationen mit
- Du zeichnest dich durch deine hohe Dienstleistungs- und Kundenorientierung aus
- Du konntest bereits Erfahrung im 1st- und 2nd-Level-Support sammeln
- Du hast sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?
What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
What do I have to consider if German is not my mother tongue?
Please take into account the job’s language requirements and make sure the requirements match your skills.
