Als Frontend Developer (m/w/d) mit tiefem Verständnis für moderne Frontend-Technologien, Nutzerführung und performante Webanwendungen bist du für die Gestaltung der Oberflächen unserer digitalen Produkte zuständig.
Du entwickelst anspruchsvolle Frontends für Lernplattformen, Apps und digitale Trainingslösungen – und sorgst dafür, dass komplexe Inhalte intuitiv, zugänglich und technisch sauber erlebbar werden. Dabei denkst du nicht nur in Komponenten, sondern in Systemen, Nutzererlebnissen und skalierbaren Lösungen. Du prägst und entwickelst aktiv unsere Frontend-Architektur und technische Standards.
Du arbeitest du eng mit UX/UI, Backend, Product- und Projektmanagement zusammen und bringst deine Erfahrung aktiv in Architekturentscheidungen, Code-Qualität und die Weiterentwicklung unserer technischen Standards ein.

* Unser Vertrag ist zunächst auf 1 Jahr befristet. Diese Zeit nutzen wir, um uns gegenseitig kennenzulernen und sicherzustellen, dass die Zusammenarbeit für beide Seiten gut passt. Wenn wir merken, dass es für alle stimmig ist – und davon gehen wir aus – steht einer unbefristeten Anstellung nichts im Wege.

Was dich erwartet - deine Aufgaben

Du entwickelst und implementierst moderne, performante und wartbare Frontend-Anwendungen für digitale Lernprodukte
Du setzt UI- und UX-Konzepte präzise um und entwickelst sie gemeinsam mit Design und Product Management stetig weiter
Du arbeitest eng mit Backend-Developer*innen zusammen und integrierst APIs, Datenflüsse und Schnittstellen.
Du übernimmst Verantwortung für Frontend-Architektur, Code-Qualität und technische Best Practices.
Du optimierst Performance, Usability, Accessibility und Responsiveness über verschiedene Endgeräte hinweg.
Du bringst dich aktiv in technische Konzeptionen, Reviews und Weiterentwicklungen ein.
Du behältst neue technologische Entwicklungen im Blick und gibst Impulse für zukunftsfähige Frontend-Lösungen.

Was du mitbringst - dein Skillset

Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Frontend Development
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in modernen Frontend-Technologien (z. B. JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue oder vergleichbare Frameworks).
Erfahrung mit komponentenbasierten Architekturen, State-Management und modernen Build-Tools.
Ein gutes Verständnis für UX/UI, Design-Systeme und nutzerzentrierte Entwicklung.
Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit APIs (REST, ggf. GraphQL) und der Integration komplexer Datenstrukturen.
Erfahrung mit Accessibility-Standards (z. B. WCAG).
Hoher Anspruch an Code-Qualität, Wartbarkeit und Performance.
Strukturierte, selbstständige Arbeitsweise und Verantwortungsbewusstsein.

I don't think I meet all the requirements. Can I still apply?

Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you can make up for missing knowledge with additional skills. What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?

Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate. We would also recommend to inform yourself thoroughly in advance about visa regulations. Therefore you can use the official visa navigator from the Federal Foreign Office.
