Was erwartet dich?
- Du assistierst unseren Tierärzt:innen bei Untersuchungen sowie Behandlungen und bist eine zentrale Stütze bei der medizinischen Versorgung unserer Tiere.
- Du übernimmst die Vor- und Nachbereitung von Operationen, assistierst bei chirurgischen Eingriffen und betreust die Tiere in der Aufwachphase.
- In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Tierpflege setzt du Behandlungspläne um, verabreichst Medikamente und überwachst den Genesungsprozess unserer Schützlinge.
- Du verantwortest die Terminkoordination, führst die digitalen Patientenakten und bist eine wichtige Ansprechperson für das gesamte Team.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
- Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Tiermedizinische Fachangestellte (m/w/d) und bringst idealerweise erste Berufserfahrung mit.
- Du bist sicher in der Assistenz bei Behandlungen sowie in der OP-Vorbereitung und -nachsorge.
- Mit deiner empathischen Art und als engagierte Teamunterstützung gehst du liebevoll mit unseren Tieren um.
- Ein Führerschein der Klasse B sowie die Bereitschaft, auch an Wochenenden zu arbeiten, sind für dich selbstverständlich.
- Du kommunizierst sicher auf Deutsch (mindestens C1-Niveau), um eine reibungslose Dokumentation und Absprache zu gewährleisten.

About Tierschutzverein Speyer und Umgebung e.V.
Unser Tierschutzverein wurde 1956 gegründet und ist Mitglied im Dachverband Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. und dessen Landesverband in Rheinland-Pfalz. Wir leisten Aufklärungsarbeit zum Thema Tierschutz und betreiben unser Tierheim in Speyer. Das Tierheim wurde 1959 eröffnet und wird seither in Eigenverantwortung und enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Speyer betrieben. Hauptaufgabe im Tierheimbetrieb ist die Versorgung von herrenlosen Haustieren. Wir bieten unseren Schützlingen ein möglichst gutes Heim auf Zeit bis ein neues Zuhause mit artgerechter Haltung gefunden ist.

What do I have to consider if I am not from Germany?
Please make sure to provide all necessary documents within your Workwise profile. It should include an EU work-permit (if you have no EU citizenship) and a CV at least. Depending on the position you are applying to, you could also be asked for a certificate of enrollment, a transcript of records or a language certificate.
